Last Sunday, Steven—whose last name the police withheld—had been spotted in the vicinity of Crompton Moor.
However, according to Greater Manchester Police, the 40-year-old was discovered deceased on Thursday.
“Sadly, Steven who was missing from Leeds and was last seen around Crompton Moor in Oldham on Sunday was found deceased yesterday (Thursday),” a force official stated this morning, Friday.
“His family has requested privacy at this time and is receiving support from professional personnel.
“Our officers would like to thank those who helped in sharing our appeal despite the tragic outcome.”
