Nottingham Forest complete £9m deal for star compared to Jack Grealish, deal now done

Quality over quantity seems to be the way to go this summer, as Nottingham Forest is getting closer to bringing in another player.

To make sure Nuno Espirito Santo is happy, Forest has been methodical in their approach and has taken their time achieving their goals.
It’s no secret that Forest is eager to bolster its roster; the team is still considering wingers, a left-back, and a new striker before the deadline.

Things could pick up in the upcoming weeks as clubs begin to finish their preparations, with the season starting in about two weeks.

It appears like Forest is nearing the completion of an agreement to add a new player to the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest close to Jota Silva signing

It seems like Forest is beginning to behave like a legitimate football team these days, as Silva’s signing is almost finalised.

Following the initial connections between Silva and Forest that surfaced yesterday, Fabrizio Romano now thinks that a deal is almost finalised.

In Portugal, there are claims that Forest will pay £9 million. Journalist Sebastiao Sousa Pinto claims that of that amount, £5.9 million will be paid up front and the remaining £3.1 million will come from add-ons.

In the UEFA Europa Conference League, Vitoria Guimaraes defeated Floriana 1-0 with the help of the gifted player, who has already scored for the team this season.

The player had a fantastic season last year, making 42 games and tallying 15 goals and 7 assists. In addition, he received eleven cautions.

Playing right flank, Silva is an intriguing addition that will increase competition for the slots held by Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Silva idolises Cristiano Ronaldo and is the Portuguese Jack Grealish

Silva, who is still only 24 years old and can play a variety of positions, may be a bit of a gem for Forest.

He asserted in a March interview with The Guardian that he naturally idolises Cristiano Ronaldo and sees him as an example to aspire to.

His flowing locks, rolled-down socks, and ability to blow past opponents earn him the nickname “Portuguese Jack Grealish” in Portugal, which is definitely good news for Forest.

Silva, a 24-year-old who possesses a lot of energy in the last part of the game, is another player who very obviously meets the description of the kind of player Forest is looking to recruit.

It’s encouraging to see Forest abandon the protracted tales of the past and focus just on players who they are certain they can easily get.

Although Silva will obviously have everything to prove in the Premier League, we think that this is a very smart move on the part of Forest.
