PLACER COUNTY, Calif.— Thursday’s collision in Placer County, close to Auburn, claimed the life of a woman.
The collision occure along Edgewood Road, east of Blitz Lane, north of Auburn, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers discovered a Ford van had struck a pedestrian when they arrived.
The woman, who was only known to be a 73-year-old Orangevale resident, was brought to a hospital where she eventually passed away.
