SOUTHEND United have signed defender Joe Gubbins and striker Josh Walker.
Following his release from Queens Park Rangers, Gubbins, who made ten appearances for Blues on loan back in 2022, and Walker signed two-year contracts.
Burton Albion has acquired the 26-year-old for an undisclosed fee, and manager Kevin Maher is thrilled to have both players on board following the lifting of the club’s transfer ban at the conclusion of last week.
Maher remarked, “It’s been frustrating watching everyone else bring players in. We’ve been short on players for a while.”
