A solitary vehicle collision in the Halifax region has claimed the life of a 36-year-old Hillsvale, Newfoundland resident.
Around 7:25 p.m. on Friday, first responders were dispatched to the Bedford Bypass and Dartmouth Road split.
According to the police, the driver of the car lost control and rolled into the ditch while passing another car.
The lone person inside the car, the driver, was declared dead at the scene.
For several hours, Highway 7 remained closed as a collision reconstructionist carried out their investigation. Since then, it has reopened.
