Ms. Rose, a resident of Brantham, walked her springer spaniel, Bruce, for a stroll at around five in the morning.
At 6.30 a.m., emergency personnel were summoned to a track close to Rectory Lane in Brantham.
Speaking at the inquest opening at Suffolk Coroners Court on Friday was Suffolk Constabulary Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Connick.
He informed the court that using an app that showed the 57-year-old’s route on the morning of her death, authorities were able to track her movements.
Her tracking map ended at 6:03 in the morning, and the head inspector noted it was typical for this time of day.
He claimed that after seeing Ms. Rose, a bystander called an ambulance, which then summoned the police to the location just after 8 a.m.
A post mortem has been completed and the provisional cause of death is a traumatic head injury, pending further investigation.
The mum-of-six was found unconscious lying on a track road near the sewage works and railway line.
There have been three arrests in connection with the inquiry – a man aged in his 20s and a 45-year-old man on suspicion of murder, and a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
All have been bailed and are set to return to the police later in the year.
Last week, police released images of two men they would like to speak to
Nigel Parsley, senior coroner for Suffolk, said: “On the basis of the information provided, I will open an inquest into Anita’s tragic death.
“This inquest will be suspended whilst police inquiries continue.”
The hearing was adjourned until 2025.
