Police appeal for witnesses following a critical injury condition

Thames Valley Police are looking for witnesses after a serious injury road traffic collision in Newbury.

The incident occurred around 9.45 p.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of Oxford Street and Old Bath Road.

The crash involved both a car and a white Yamaha 125cc motorcycle.

A man in his twenties was seriously injured in the event and remains in the hospital.

PC Gareth Miles, an investigating officer with the Joint Roads Policing team, stated, “I am asking for witnesses to this collision in which a man incurred significant injuries.

“I would urge for anyone who was in or near the area in which this collision occurred to get in touch with us if they observed the incident or anything leading up to it.

“Also, if any motorists in the area have dashcams, please review the film to see if anything relevant was captured, as this could aid our inquiry.
