On Sunday, at around 12.10 p.m., a blue Volkswagen Touran collided with a cyclist on the roundabout near Waitrose, at the junction of the A4 and Western Avenue.
The rider shattered his leg and had to be hospitalised, but he has since been discharged.
PC Tom Dickinson, an investigating officer of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, stated, “We are looking for witnesses following this collision.”
“We are urging witnesses to the collision to come forward, as well as anyone with dash-cam evidence from the event.
