A 55-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Newbury.
According to Thames Valley Police, the accident occurred on Bath Road near its junction with Dorneywood Way at around 07:30 GMT on Saturday.
Philip Cheek, of Newbury, was hit by a Mini Cooper S heading towards Thatcham.
PC Melanie Todd of the crash investigation unit said, “Our thoughts are with Mr Cheek’s family during this extremely difficult time.”
