Solana Imani Rowe popularly known by her stage name SZA is an American songwriter and singer. She was born on November 8, 1989 in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Maplewood, United States of America.
She attended Columbia High School and was involved in gymnastics and cheerleading. She dropped out of the Delaware State University during her last semester studying biology.
Career
SZA started her career linking up with members of Top Dawg Entertainment during the the CMJ New Music Report in 2011.
In 2013 TDE signed SZA making her the first female artist of the record label. She released her debut album See SZA Run which included songs like Bed, Advil, Time Travel Undone, Euphraxia among others.
She has released two studio albums, three Ep’s, one live album, and 44 singles. SZA was featured in the lead sound track of the popular Black Panther movie in 2018 along with Kendrick Lamar.
