A man’s body was found in a well-known Tunbridge Wells park. When adjacent residents noticed emergency services activity in the early hours of the morning, they became concerned.
In Hawkenbury Recreation Ground, a council park heavily used by the residents of Hawkenbury, a settlement slightly over a mile from Tunbridge Wells town centre, police tape and tarpaulin have been placed.
Kent Police stated to KentLive: “At around 4.30am on Wednesday (August 28), officers and ambulance crews attended Hawkenbury Recreation Ground in Tunbridge Wells.”
“A man’s next of kin are aware that he was confirmed dead at the spot. A report will be prepared for the coroner and the death is not being investigated as suspicious.”
