A man’s body was recovered in a popular park in Tunbridge Wells. Residents in the area were concerned when they noticed activity from emergency services in the early hours.
Police tape and tarpaulins were placed around Hawkenbury Recreation Ground, a council park popular with the Hawkenbury community, which is located just over a mile from Tunbridge Wells town centre.
The Kent Police Department informed Kent Live: “At around 4.30am on Wednesday (August 28), officers and ambulance crews attended Hawkenbury Recreation Ground in Tunbridge Wells.”
“A male was verified dead at the site, and his next of kin were notified. The death is not being investigated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
