It has been verified that a young woman perished in yesterday’s two-car incident.
Around 3:51 p.m., a crash occurred on the A442 in Lower Allscott, which is close to Bridgnorth.
Two ambulances, one air ambulance, and two paramedic officers were sent by West Midlands Ambulance Service to the area to assist.
According to an ambulance service spokesman, despite their best efforts, one woman had passed away, another had been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for treatment of potentially serious injuries, and a third man had been taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with injuries that weren’t thought to be serious.
“When crews arrived, they discovered three patients and two cars that had been in an accident,” the official stated.
The woman who was the first patient was discovered to be very ill.
She was sadly declared dead at the spot despite everyone’s best efforts to save her.
“A woman from the same car received treatment for potentially serious injuries and was transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for additional care via land ambulance, with the Air Ambulance doctor travelling on board.”
When rescue workers got there, the man who was driving the second automobile had already exited it.
“He was transported by land ambulance to Royal Shrewsbury University Hospital after receiving medical attention for injuries that were deemed to be minor.”
The woman who passed away was, according to West Mercia Police, in her 20s.
“An inquiry is currently underway,” a representative stated.
