Police are at the scene this morning
Floral tributes have been left after a dad and three small children were discovered deceased in a Surrey home.
At approximately 1.15pm on Saturday, police discovered their bodies in a home on Bremer Road in Staines-Upon-Thames.
Neighbours reported the residence was home to a young Polish family with twins, and all three children were boys. Surrey police confirmed that the three youngsters, all under the age of four, were related to the man.
A floral tribute left outside the residence on Sunday said, “Rest in peace, little ones.” We shall always think of you.”
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances behind their deaths, but authorities believe it was an isolated event with no third-party participation.
The children’s mother and next of kin are aware and receiving assistance from professional officers.
While Bremer Road was blocked for an extended period of time yesterday, it has now reopened completely, however a police presence will remain in the area for the foreseeable future, according to Surrey Police.
The force has also completed a mandatory referral to the police watchdog the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) due to previous police contact with those involved.
