A collision on the M62 has left a van driver who was being pursued by police with serious injuries.
At approximately 11:00 BST on Wednesday, West Yorkshire Police officers made an attempt to stop a Ford Transit van that they believed to be driving under false plates.
The van then struck a lamppost on the slip road at the eastbound carriageway’s junction 22, which is close to Ripponden.

According to the officers, the driver’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The West Yorkshire Force has notified the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
