Police have confirmed that a man was killed in a crash on the M40 near the Oxfordshire border this morning.
At 5.39 a.m., police responded to a complaint of a collision involving a van and a lorry on the M40 northbound near Gaydon between junctions 12 and 13.
Warwickshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were there, and a paramedic later pronounced the guy deceased on the scene.
The northbound length of the road remains closed, and cops remain on the scene.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Barr stated, “Our thoughts and sympathies are with the man’s friends and loved ones during this extremely difficult time.”
