Reports claiming that the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, left a will have been refuted by the singer’s management.
The explanation followed Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, claiming in a recent interview that his son had written a will prior to his passing.
However, the late singer’s management responded, calling the assertion “false and misleading,” in a statement posted on Monday via the singer’s Instagram page.
A portion of the statement said, “No one from Mohbad’s administration or his lawyer has informed any member of the family or the public that there is a will or any other type of thumb-printed document, despite recent false reports to the contrary.
We want to be clear that, in the event that such a document existed, it would have been properly filed with the Probate Registry. Therefore, we humbly ask that people not spread such inaccurate and deceptive statements.
