Who Is lil Meech?
The popular American rapper named Demetrius Edward Flenory popularly called lil Meech was born in April 22, 2000. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida. His father is called Demetrius who was imprisoned since he was just five years old.
In 2019, Flenory Jr. self-released his debut single “Bad Habits,” a homage to his father, “Big Meech,” under the moniker “Lil Meech.” A half-minute audio clip of his father speaking from prison is featured in the music video.
According to Flenory Jr., his father called him while he was in prison and informed him that rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson had the rights to the Black Mafia Family narrative and that a film or television show will be made based on it.
The actual story of two Detroit brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, who rose to prominence as heroin traffickers in the 1980s and went on to become part of one of the most powerful crime families in America, is portrayed in Black Mafia Family.
Flenory started BMF Entertainment, a drug trafficking and money laundering enterprise that included a record label, hip-hop publication, and music promotion company, around the beginning of the new millennium.
Although Flenory Jr. was enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas studying business, the rapper/executive producer told him, while he was present at the casting call , that he wanted to move to Los Angeles and enrol him in acting classes so that he could star in the series as his father.
The first casting call was scheduled for Atlanta, and his father hoped for him to meet Jackson so that he could get to know how the adaptation was being produced.
After two years of attending classes “five days a week, (sometimes) two times a day,” he called the experience “intense.”Jackson and Demetrius “Big Meech” shared a father, Flenory Jr. For the duration of the show’s development, Flenory maintained frequent contact with both creator Randy Huggins and his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. Huggin believed Flenory Jr.’s portrayal of his father wasn’t necessary when the sitcom was first being created.

He dated R and B singer Summer Walker and broke up with her following some misunderstanding. In 2023 he was nominated in the prestigious BET awards for Best Actor of the year.
