Driver killed in terrifying fatal crash named

A Glasgow chef was among five persons killed in a two-car crash on the M6 in Cumbria, according to reports.

Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, is thought to have been the driver of a Toyota that collided with another vehicle on the northbound section of the motorway at Tebay services on Tuesday afternoon.

A 33-year-old woman and two boys, ages 15 and 7, who were travelling in the same vehicle were also slain.

A second man, aged 40, from Cambridgeshire, who police claimed had been driving a Skoda the wrong way down the northbound lane, was also declared dead at the scene.

A third youngster in the Toyota, aged seven, was evacuated to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with serious injuries.

Although authorities have yet to identify all individuals involved, the BBC reported on Thursday that Wagamama CEO Thomas Heier acknowledged Mr Rossa was an employee who died in the collision.

Mr Heier was quoted as adding that Mr Rossa’s colleagues at the Silverburn retail mall hailed him as “a cherished chef and friend” who had created “unforgettable relationships” with coworkers and clients.

He went on to say, “Jaroslaw’s warmth, dedication, and kindness will be remembered by the team long after he has passed away.”

“We express our most sincere and deepest condolences to his family, who we know he was deeply devoted to

“Jaroslaw, you will live in our hearts and minds forever.”
