She was born to Joan Grande and Edward Butera. Grande has a half brother, Frankie Grande who is a producer and an entertainer.
Ariana Grande’s parents separated when she was just nine years old. At a young age, she became interested in acting, performing with the Fort Lauderdale Children’s theater, The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and Beast.
Career
At a young age Ariana Grande gained interest in music. She travelled to Los Angeles to record an album when she was just thirteen years old however, the managers of the record labels did not take her too serious considering her age.
Her breakthrough came in 2009 when she featured in Nickelodeon’s television show Victorious, she decided to focus on music and started recording songs and working on her first album in 2010.
Ariana Grande released her debut album Heart Up in 2011 which included popular songs God is a Woman, 7 Rings, Rain on Me etc. She currently has seven studio albums, two compilation albums, one live album, fifty four singles and fifteen promotional singles.
