Warning to drivers
A crash closed one side of the A50 near Stoke-on-Trent this evening (September 5). The westbound side is closed in Meir.
It is unclear how many automobiles were involved or whether anyone was seriously injured. The crash was first reported at 8:42 p.m.
Inrix, a traffic monitor, reports: “A50 Uttoxeter Road westbound closed due to accident from A521 Uttoxeter Road (Tesco Roundabout / Caverswall / Meir Park) to Broadway (Meir Tunnel Interchange).”
