Following his vehicle’s involvement in an accident in Totton with a lorry, a man has died.
The 51-year-old man from Christchurch, Dorset, was driving a silver Peugeot 107 when it collided with the lorry last night, Monday, July 15, at approximately 03:15 BS on the A326 in Totton, at the intersection with Monkton Lane.
His family has been notified.
The A326 was closed between Fletchwood Road and the A35, however it reopened around 15:00.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary stated that they would be happy to talk to anyone who observed a silver Peugeot 107 in Totton and New Milton early on Monday morning with the licence plate ending in JHZ.
