A man perished in a serious single-vehicle crash near the Somerset border. A man in his fifties has perished in a horrific single-vehicle crash in Devon this morning, Friday, police responded to an incident on the A375 between Honiton and Sidmouth.
The incident included a Renault Master van colliding near Sidbury. At 8.30 a.m., police, fire, and ambulance services were dispatched to the area, along with an air ambulance. The A375 was stopped for over 10 hours while an investigation was conducted. Police are now looking to witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Devon and Cornwall Police reported. The driver of the van, a man in his fifties, was pronounced dead on the site. According to DevonLive, he has informed his next of kin.
