Celtic reject fresh offer as EPL side circle

After another team entered the competition to sign star midfielder Matt O’Riley, head coach of the Houston Rockets Brendan Rodgers will have to fight to keep the player at the team this summer. Atalanta, an Italian team, has made two unsuccessful attempts to sign the 23-year-old; the team is believed to have rejected a second offer of £14 million plus add-ons. But Southampton, a recently promoted Premier League team, is rumored to have entered the race to sign O’Riley and is said to have lost their initial attempt to lure the player to St Mary’s. With West Ham United and Leicester City rumored to be keeping an eye on the Hoops star, this could spark a bidding war for the player.

Rangers improve transfer offer

In an attempt to persuade key target Joan Jordan to sign with the Ibrox giants this summer, Rangers manager Philippe Clement has improved his offer. Spanish journalist Fernando Serrano claims that the Light Blues have approached Sevilla with a better offer in an attempt to sign the playmaker for a season-long loan. The La Liga team rejected Rangers’ first offer to pay for 30% of his salary, so it seemed as though the deal was doomed to fail just a week ago. Clement’s side has now approved a higher portion of the salary that they will bear responsibility for, though. The Belgian manager has confirmed that Todd Cantwell and Connor Goldson are both set to return, so the team is looking for reinforcement. set to leave the club this summer.
