A biker in his 60s was tragically killed yesterday afternoon after colliding with a vehicle in Brixton.
A 60-year-old cyclist was killed in a clash with a lorry in south London.
At around 16:15 BST on Monday, emergency services were summoned to reports of a collision on Mervan Road near the junction with Effra Road, Brixton.
Paramedics attempted to treat the man, but he died at the site, according to the Metropolitan Police. The driver of the lorry stopped to speak to officials.
The cyclist’s next of kin have been informed, and witnesses or anybody who may have dashcam footage are being requested to contact police.
