Aaron McPherson, 17, died in hospital
Following a young man’s death in an E-bike accident in Grangemouth, a teenage boy has been charged with murder.
When an E-bike and a small white hatchback automobile collided fatally on Portal Road, emergency services were contacted. When emergency personnel arrived, the male E-bike rider, 17, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he later passed away.
He was later named by police as Aaron McPherson. Detectives investigating his death confirmed they have charged a 17-year-old youth in connection with ‘murder’.
He has an appearance scheduled at Falkirk Sheriff Court. Additionally, an 18-year-old guy was taken into custody in relation to the event.
Since then, he has been freed while more research is conducted.
Detective Chief Inspector David MacGregor said: “Our thoughts remain with Aaron’s family and friends. Officers are offering support and keeping them updated as our investigation continues. I’d like to thank members of the public who have already come forward and would ask anyone else with information, who has not already spoken to police, to please do so.”
