In a memorial, the father of a motorcyclist killed in an incident with a car in Lancashire said he had “so much to live for”.
Connor Whittingham, 23, died at the scene of the collision on Preston Road in Whittle-le-Woods at approximately 14:45 BST on Sunday.
Police are looking into the cause, including whether speed was a factor.
Mr Whittingham’s father, Paul, stated that “Connor loved his motorbikes” and hopes that his death “will raise awareness… of the risks that speed can have.”
“Connor was very much loved by all his family and liked by a huge number of people.”
Mr Whittingham had various injuries, while the car’s driver, a 40-year-old lady from Bolton, received whiplash and was treated for shock.
According to the family’s statement, Mr Whittingham had a “short life that could have been very much more”.
