A woman was transported to the hospital when a lorry crashed on the A149.
At 8.20 a.m. today, a lorry collided with a car at the Jubilee roundabout on Queen Elizabeth Way.
The female driver of the car was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital via ambulance for further treatment.
Police remained at the scene of the event while waiting for the vehicles to be recovered.
The road, which was partially closed and generating traffic congestion, has finally been cleared.
