We are re-appealing for witnesses after officers were called about 6.15 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Thorpe Road in Chertsey.
The crash occurred on the M3 bridge between Twynersh Roundabout on Staines Road and Mill Lane, involving a Mercedes and an HGV.
The 61-year-old driver of the Mercedes was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, he died from his injuries.
