Two tragically killed in Norfolk fatal crash, police still appealing for witnesses

Emergency services were called to the scene late on Friday.

Two men perished in a crash on the A47 in Norfolk on Friday (August 16). Police and other emergency services were dispatched to the A47 Acle Straight near Great Yarmouth at 11.38 p.m.

An orange Sinnis motorcycle collided with an Audi TT. Both the rider and the pillion passenger were pronounced dead on the site.

The A47 was closed to traffic for more than 12 hours before resuming at approximately 1pm on Saturday (August 17). The police are now requesting anyone with knowledge to contact them.

A Norfolk Police spokesperson stated, “Officers would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant dashcam footage of either car before it occurred. Anyone with information is requested to contact any of the following channels and quote reference 670 of August 16, 2024.
