A second person died in hospital after a disturbance at a home in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells.
A 24-year-old man was confirmed dead on the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
He was detained at an address in Bright Ridge on the evening of Saturday, August 31, 2024, after suffering injuries consistent with stab wounds.
An 82-year-old woman died at the scene after suffering multiple stab wounds.
The coroner will now lead an inquiry into both fatalities, with officers assisting in the process.
Both of the people involved knew each other, and authorities are not looking for anyone else in connection with the crime.
