A pedestrian died after colliding with an automobile.
According to Norfolk Police, a silver BMW 530i collided with a pedestrian on Monday around 21:06 BST at the intersection of St James Road and Blackfriars Street in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
The pedestrian, a guy in his seventies, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the BMW, a man in his twenties, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by hazardous driving and later released under investigation.
The road was closed while emergency services responded to the scene, and it reopened around 07:30 on Tuesday.
Norfolk Police said they wanted to speak with a woman who was believed to have had a conversation with the victim immediately before the collision.
The force said it was appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
