At Longton Park, paramedics and police were dispatched.
In a park in Potteries, a man has been discovered dead. According to paramedics, they were called to Longton Park yesterday afternoon for a “medical emergency.”
Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead at the site and nothing could be done to save him. Residents at the park off Trentham Road reported seeing several police officers and paramedics, according to StokeonTrentLive.
Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to West Midlands Ambulance Service, which verified this today. This afternoon, shortly after 2:00 PM, the alarm had gone off.
“We were called to reports of a medical emergency at Queens Park,” a spokesman stated. There were two ambulances on the scene.
“We found one patient, a guy, upon arriving. Sadly, it didn’t take long to realise there was nothing more that could be done, and he was pronounced dead at the site.”
According to Staffordshire Police, there is no reason for concern regarding this death.
