Two males died and two women were injured in an automobile accident.
Northumbria Police said it got a complaint of a crash on Chillingham Road in Newcastle’s Heaton district at 02:15 BST.
According to police, a silver Mercedes 250 AMG collided with a wall.
The two males, aged 30 and 26, were treated by emergency personnel on the site but were unable to be saved.
Two 19-year-old ladies who were also in the automobile were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries that are expected to be fatal.
The police stated they were investigating and asked for information.
The women’s next of kin have been notified and are being assisted by police.
Sergeant Andy Ferguson responded: “This is an incredibly sad incident and our thoughts are firmly with the families and loved ones of the two people who have tragically died.”
