A car struck an 86-year-old woman in the supermarket parking lot, killing her, and seriously injuring another.

Just before midday, Hampshire police said, they were hit by a Peugeot 206 at the Morrison’s store in Totton.
Later on, the Chandlers Ford resident passed away in a hospital. A woman, age 22, sustained injuries that would change her life. The 76-year-old woman driving the car only had minor wounds.

The police are requesting witnesses.

The woman’s family has paid tribute to her after she passed away in Totton last week after an automobile and pedestrian collided.

Just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, Sheila Watson, 74, of Haydock Close, Totton, was taken to the hospital following the collision. A Volkswagen Tiguan was also involved.

Regretfully, on Thursday afternoon, the hospital declared her dead.

Today, the family of Mrs. Watson honored her.

“She was a lovely, kind and thoughtful lady, who would do anything for anyone,” the statement read.

“So many people loved her. We are all heartbroken and will miss her terribly.

The precise circumstances of the collision are being looked into by the officers.

They are still eager to talk to anyone they haven’t already spoken to who might be able to help with their inquiries.
