Three further charges for violent disorder leeds two two deaths

As part of our continuing investigation into violent disorder in Tamworth and Stoke-on-Trent, three more people have been charged. For murder, one finger print was found on the knife that was used to stab the victims

Violent disorder is the charge brought against Matthew Rush, 30, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and Mitchell Cleaver, 25, of Burton-on-Trent.

A seventeen-year-old boy from Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, has been accused of violent disorder; his identity is withheld for legal reasons.

Today, Friday, August 16, all three are scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Center.

As part of our investigation into the disorder in Tamworth on August 4 and Stoke-on-Trent on August 3, we have now charged 12 people and made over 40 arrests.
