Two boys aged 11 and 13 and an 11-year-old girl died
Four automobiles and four lorries collided on the A34 near Newbury, killing four people, including three children, and injuring numerous more.
The collision happened shortly after the East Ilsley turnoff on the northbound portion of the road.
According to Sky News, two air ambulances and six ambulances arrived on the scene.
One man was sent to the hospital and is said to be in a “life threatening condition,” while four others were declared dead at the spot.
Unnamed are the 45-year-old woman, two sons, ages 11 and 13, and an 11-year-old girl.
Two persons were brought to the hospital for minor injuries, while nine others received on-scene treatment.
The northbound carriageway between West Ilsley and the M4 intersection at Chieveley is currently closed and will probably stay closed for some time.
Additionally, the southbound lane is closed, however it will probably reopen later.
Police are asking anyone with knowledge about the collision to get in touch.
A 30-year-old man from Andover arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on bail until 20th October
