A man in his thirties died after his motorbike collided with another car in Rochdale this morning.
At before 7.30 a.m. today, emergency services were summoned to reports of a crash on Todmorden Road in Rochdale.
A Citroen Berlingo and a Kawasaki motorcycle collided while turning at the Ferrand Lodge crossroads.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the 35-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family is currently receiving specialised care.
Greater Manchester Police are now appealing to members of the public who witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Page stated, “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the loved ones of the man who tragically died in this incident.”
