A horrific crash involving a motorbike and pedestrian has left one man dead and another critically injured in a hospital.
On Ripponden Road in Oldham, police and fire personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5 p.m. today.
Emergency personnel discovered two men at the scene in critical condition.
At the scene, a man in his 70s was declared deceased. The other man, a twentysomething, was taken to the hospital with injuries that could be fatal.
While investigations are ongoing and there are major road closures, officers are asking the public to stay away from the area.
