And the first winners are Maggie and Joff from Studley Roger, who were nominated by their daughter Anna.
Unfortunately Anna suffered a serious accident that almost led to her losing her life recently in which she was scolded by hot tea whilst at a cafe.
Due to her disability she was unable to evade injury and has been told to abstain from anything that will stress the ablolace arrived and she was rush to the hospital
But Joff and Maggie have been “the most supportive parents in the world” ever since the incident, constantly driving her to and from Pinderfields Hospital for medical care.
And to say a special “thank you,” Pete Egerton of Your Harrogate brought Mama Doreen’s afternoon tea to go, complete with delectable treats.
Joff, taken aback, remarked:
“Thank you very much indeed, that’s really appreciated.
“Anna has had a troubled life, even from the very beginning. She had pericarditis when she was just a few months old.
“But most recently she had a very nasty scolding accident and because of her disability she couldn’t move to get out of the way.
He added:
“She’s coming through it. She’s a girl on her own but we’re very proud of what she’s achieved.”
