A man in his 30s died, and a second rider was injured, following a major collision.
Police verified that a man died as a result of a collision. The biker was involved in a crash in Fox Way, Portslade, around 1:35pm today (Saturday, October 12).
Emergency services, including Sussex Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded to reports of the incident. Officers have blocked the road in both directions.
Paramedics treated a biker on the spot. However, despite their best attempts, the man in his thirties was tragically pronounced dead at the site.
A second motorcyclist suffered a leg injury in the collision. Pictures on social media suggested an air ambulance was also called to the crash.
Sussex Police has now launched an appeal to help its investigation into the incident. Anyone who saw what happened, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting Operation Euston.
