TWO men have been released on bail pending further inquiry into the death of a man discovered in a property on the Beechwood estate.
Just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a man in his twenties being concerned for his safety at a Fender Way property.
The man has been legally recognised, and his next of kin have been notified. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine his cause of death.
Two males from Beechwood, aged 43 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of murder and have since been released as investigations into the man’s death continue.
Merseyside Police stated on Friday that there is no larger threat to the community.
Detective Chief Inspector Peter Stephenson said, “Our heartfelt condolences continue to be with the man’s family.”
“An investigation is underway, with authorities conducting enquiries to determine exactly what transpired.
“We continue to urge anyone who may have seen or know something that might help with the investigation to please contact us.”
