West Mercia Police have detained two males after a woman died and a girl was sent to hospital in an A456 crash near Halesowen on Saturday, October 19.
Police have detained two individuals following a major crash on the A456 Wassell Grove near Halesowen on Saturday, October 19. A woman was murdered and a girl was taken to the hospital. The catastrophic incident, which involved four automobiles, killed a female Audi driver on the scene shortly after 1pm on Saturday.
A girl who was also in the Audi suffered injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. On Sunday morning, West Mercia Police reported that two men in their twenties had been arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious harm by hazardous driving.
Nothing could be done to save the Audi driver, who perished on the scene of the accident. Following the incident on the outskirts of Birmingham, officers issued an urgent appeal, requesting any potential witnesses or those with dashcam evidence to contact them.
