Two men were apprehended.
Two people have been arrested after a lady was discovered dead in Blackpool. Her body was found on Gorton Street in the beach town approximately this morning (Thursday).
At around 9:30 a.m., emergency services stormed the area after an alarm was made about the woman, who was in her 20s. The street was sealed off as authorities investigated the incident.
Lancashire Police said this evening that two men in their sixties had been arrested on suspicion of providing a controlled substance.
Pictures supplied with The Blackpool Lead and posted by Lancs Live showed police and paramedics on the street, which was roped off. At approximately 11 a.m., five police vehicles and two ambulances were visible in the neighborhood. There are unsubstantiated allegations that the woman’s body was discovered inside an old, decommissioned ambulance.
