Police are seeking information following a deadly crash in Girvan.
Around 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, emergency services were dispatched to the B7035, Girvan-Dailly Road, for a crash involving a green Land Rover Defender.
The 37-year-old male motorist was pronounced deceased on the spot. The road was closed for about 12 hours to allow investigations to take place.
Enquiries are underway, and officers are asking anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Brian Simpson stated, “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died during this difficult time.”
“Our investigations are ongoing, and I urge anyone who witnessed the crash who has not yet talked with us to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around that time and who may have dash cam footage or who may have seen the car prior to the crash to contact us.”
