Work will take place between 8pm and 6am each day
On a busy A-way in Cambridgeshire, there are traffic closures that will cause drivers to detour for 11 miles. For two nights, motorists will not be allowed to travel on the A142 Stuntney Causeway in Ely between Seekings Way and Barway Road.
Starting on Monday, September 2nd, the first closure will be implemented. It is anticipated that the road would close at 8 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. the following day.
“A142 Stuntney Causeway, Ely (between Seekings Way and Barway Road) will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles between the 2nd and 3rd of September between the hours of 8pm and 6am nightly for works,” a Cambridgeshire County Council representative stated.
