Police surrounded the road after the event.
A major route was partially closed this morning due to an accident.
At around 7:25a.m on Monday morning, a crash occurred on Borough Road in Birkenhead near the junction of Whitford Road. Images supplied to the ECHO showed many police cars and a perimeter in place.
The incident appeared to include a black hatchback and a motorbike, which could be seen within the police barrier. Photos revealed that the airbag in the black automobile had inflated.
According to one eyewitness, a car and a motorbike collided. The ECHO has contacted Merseyside Police for more details on the event and the extent of any injuries.
