A motorcyclist was critically hurt in a rush-hour incident that caused major traffic delays on one of the region’s busiest roadways in Peacehaven.
Police were summoned at 8 a.m. today after reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike. Paramedics also arrived at the scene.
Anyone with information or footage is encouraged to contact the police to assist them in their investigation.
Traffic remained disrupted for more than an hour and a half following the incident, with roadworks taking place nearby.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police responded to a report of a collision between a car and a motorbike on the A259 in Peacehaven around 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 7.”
“The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
