TalkSPORT has learned that Manchester United has turned down a bid for Scott McTominay from Fulham.
McTominay, a Red Devils academy graduate, has become a reliable member of the starting lineup in recent years.
TalkSPORT revealed earlier this week that Fulham is interested in McTominay as they try to find a replacement for Joao Palhinha, who has joined Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old, who is about to enter the last year of his contract with the team, would be willing to sell to United for the right price.
Throughout his 252 appearances for United in all competitions, McTominay has 29 goals and eight assists.
Despite playing in every minute of their FA Cup winning run, including the final matchup with rivals Manchester City, he only made eighteen starts in the Premier League last season.
Galatasaray, whose vice chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu stated that “McTominay’s transfer fee is being discussed,” has expressed interest in the midfield player as well.
United recently announced the signing of Bologna’s Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee, igniting the summer transfer window.
Additionally, it appears that they will sign Leny Yoro, an 18-year-old center back, after Lille accepted a £52 million bid.
