Man in 50s killed tragically in a lorry crash in Crayford as police continue to make appeal

A man in his fifties died in a crash with a lorry in Crayford, prompting police to issue an appeal. The incident occurred yesterday evening and police hurried to the scene.

At 10.36 p.m., the Met Police were alerted to a crash on Thames Road in Crayford, south-east London, involving a car and a lorry. Despite the greatest efforts of the emergency services, the guy, in his fifties, died on the spot.

The man’s family was told of his death following the incident; no one else was transported to the hospital. The lorry driver came to a stop at the scene.

There has not been an arrest following the crash. Met Police have today made an appeal to the public to help with their investigation.
